Ship Bottom Borough, Police Raise Money for Hearts of Mercy

Recently, the Ship Bottom Police Department and Borough Council met with Hearts of Mercy founder Kristin Santorelli to donate money raised during the No Shave fundraiser. All officers and command staff participated and donated money to the cause during the month of January.

Bayview Park Welcomes Non Profit Hearts of Mercy

About 25 youngsters gathered in Bayview Park in Brant Beach last Thursday afternoon for fun in the sun, and in the water – with stand-up paddleboards, kayaks and the always-popular giant swan float and fellow inflatable creatures.

The kids traveled to the park with Hearts of Mercy, a nonprofit based on the mainland that endeavors to foster relationships with families in low-income areas, and provides the children in those families with support, guidance and a variety of activities and outings…

Hearts of Mercy Seeks Tutors, Mentors

Hearts of Mercy, a Barnegat Township group that reaches out to individuals and families in need, is seeking volunteers to work with children on Wednesday afternoons from 4 to 5:30 at the Main Street Alliance Church in Manahawkin. Kristin Santorelli, who founded Hearts of Mercy with her husband, Mark, said volunteers needed include tutors, mentors, reading buddies and van drivers.
